The Alicia hotel is a beautifully restored
former Cotton Merchant’s house, set on the
perimeter of Sefton Park, both our Glass house
and Sefton Suite have stunning views that over
look the 200 acres of the park. As soon as you
arrive you will begin to enjoy the delights of
this truly grand house.
The hotel offers stunning areas for you and your
guests to enjoy. Our award winning Italian
gardens is a magical garden to have your civil
wedding ceremony in and the perfect photograph
area for those special moments captured on
camera. The glass house with its stunning views
over the park is ideal for a romantic wedding
breakfast. Our newly refurbished Fountain suite
is perfect for your evening wedding with state
of the art sound and lighting systems.
At the Alicia we have assembled a team of
dedicated wedding professionals, with a wealth
of experience and knowledge both organizing and
running weddings. We are passionate about
providing excellent attention to detail in the
service and the quality of food to your guests.
At the Alicia you will have complete access to
the management team who will be here to help and
guide you when organizing your wonderful day.
You will also be the only bride and groom at the
hotel on your chosen day.

Directions by road
If approaching from the City Centre, drive up to the
R.C. Cathedral and turn right at lights into Hope St
(Everyman Theatre, then turn left at lights
(Philharmonic Hall), road bends to the right and is
now Catherine St. Go straight on at lights into
Princes Road, carry on until roundabout, go straight
on (Croxteth Road) and then turn right at traffic
lights, and straight through next set of lights into Sefton Park. Turn right into the park and the Alicia
Hotel is on the right. If approaching from the end
of the M62, turn left on to Queens Drive (A5058).
Continue right down Queens Drive for a few miles
until you come into Sefton Park. Turn left and carry
on until you see the hotel on the left hand side.
Directions by rail
Alight at Lime street and walk across the concourse
to the Taxi Rank and a Black Cab
will bring you here
in 5 minutes at a cost
of roughly £6.00.
