Introduction
The Alicia Hotel is part of the
award winning Feathers Hotel and Catering Group.
This tastefully restored former cotton merchants
home has all the charm and atmosphere of a grand
town house hotel but we are situated in one of the
most tranquil areas of Liverpool. Sitting directly
opposite the 300 acres of Sefton Park it feels as
though is set in the county.
Following a £1 million refurbishment over the last
two years we really are the premier wedding venue on
Merseyside. This created a wonderful conservatory
that overlooks the park itself and is perfect for a
summer wedding.
Our Unique Venetian Courtyard that has a
Gazebo in the centre which is perfect for those all
important photographs that will remind you of your
big day for the rest of your lives.
All of
our banqueting suites are licensed for Civil
Ceremonies & our Management Team can assist you in
all the necessary arrangements.
Add to
this the Feathers special touches such as our
thrones for the Bride and Groom, medieval swords for
cutting the cake, unique silverware, specialist
glassware for the top table, gold elevated
candelabras for your tables and the experience from
looking after over 100 weddings a year and you could
not possible ask for anything more.
On top of this we also make the commitment to every
couple that we will only host one wedding reception
a day. This really gives you a hotel that could be
exclusively yours for your big day.

Directions by road
If approaching from the City Centre, drive up to the
R.C. Cathedral and turn right at lights into Hope St
(Everyman Theatre), then turn left at lights
(Philharmonic Hall), road bends to the right and is
now Catherine St. Go straight on at lights into
Princes Road, carry on until roundabout, go straight
on (Croxteth Road) and then turn right at traffic
lights, and straight through next set of lights into
Sefton Park. Turn right into the park and the Alicia
Hotel is on the right. If approaching from the end
of the M62, turn left on to Queens Drive (A5058).
Continue right down Queens Drive for a few miles
until you come into Sefton Park. Turn left and carry
on until you see the hotel on the left hand side.
Directions by rail
Alight at Lime street and walk across the concourse
to the Taxi Rank and a Black Cab
will bring you here
in 5 minutes at a cost
of roughly £6.00.
