Introduction
Tabley House is the only Palladian House in the North West, designed by John Carr and constructed in 1760. It has a magnificent sweeping staircase from which to enter the house and view the exquisite parkland from the balcony. Tabley has been a family estate for more than 600 years, with generations of family history. Today, Tabley combine a sense of stateliness with a warm, friendly welcome.
The Great Gallery, licensed for 100.
The Great Gallery is a wonderful backdrop, suiting small or large occasions. It is a magnificent and opulent room in reds, blues and gold's and lends itself to most colour choices. Exquisite paintings and furniture complete the setting, creating the perfect fairy tale wedding.
The Portico, licensed for 80
The Portico is simpler and more classical in style with plaster reliefs on the walls. It is particularly suited for the smaller occasion. Ideal for 'The Welcome,' champagne and canapés served after the wedding, when people step out onto the balcony, overlooking the magnificent views of the lake and grounds.
Marquee Sites
Two marquee sites are available for receptions. In front of the house and down by the lakeside. Each area having its own particular beauty and attraction as a backdrop to a wedding.
